Violet Rightmire, aka Debra Webb Rogers, is a former professional ballet dancer. She graduated from Florida State University where she performed with their dance department while earning a B.S. in education. She went on to dance with The Birmingham Ballet, The Florida Ballet, and The Israel Ballet. She has appeared in Bride's magazine and in a commercial that won both an Addy and an Emmy award. Violet has written for the national magazine Dancebag, and is a multiple-year honoree in Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She is currently on the faculty at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida. Now retired from performing, she loves sitting with her feet up, writing dance-themed romances. Violet and her husband share a vintage cottage in Jacksonville with two cats and one rescue dog.
