I was born a Christmas baby 71 years ago. I'm married (Georgia) have a daughter (Marissa) and a grandson (Brison, 6 months) I'm a 1962 graduate of Ottawa High School (now Ottawa-Glandorf) in Ottawa, Ohio, and a 1966 graduate of Ohio University,, Athens, Ohio, with a BA in English and a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army. I spent two years on active duty, with stints at Fort Lee, Virgina, Fort Carson, Colorado, Saigon, Vietnam, and Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Returning to civilian life, I have since done extensive graduate work in English, Popular Culture, and Special Education at Bowling Green State University. I taught English and Special Education in two public schools and Composition and Business Communications at a community college for nearly two decades, then worked in industry as a Quality Circle Facilitator and Communications Manager for Dutch electronics giant Philips, In that capacity I did a lot of journalistic and technical writing for various internal publications.
I now still work full time for Goodwill/Easterseals Miami Valley in Lima, Ohio, providing various services for disabled adults.
I have been writing for many years, mostly science fiction, horror, and "mainstream." I have had some poetry published in little literary journals, but The Wild Rose Press is the first to publish any of my fiction--surprisingly in a genre I never would have expected--Romance!
