Born in eastern Nebraska, Sheri Lewis Wohl was raised in Spokane, Washington where mountains, pine trees and lakes are plentiful. Reading has been a part of her life even before she started school and writing stories soon followed. A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Sheri has spent many years in finance with the federal government. Reading and writing still called to her, however, and so she returned to school earning a Masters Degree in literature through California State University. Her thesis on the 19th century vampire story Carmilla by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu, further cemented her love of stories that chill and thrill. For Sheri, few stories are complete without a touch of romance and thus, even her scariest stories always have a touch of love. With three grown children off on their own, Sheri lives in Northeastern Washington state with her husband Steve, a St. Bernard, a German Shepherd and a stray black cat that moved in one Thanksgiving and never left. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and Gothic Romance Writers.
