D. C. Clark has more interests than time. He wonders how he ever found time to hold down the full time, industrial plant manager job he recently left to pursue these other interests. He has also worked as a land surveyor in private practice and for government, as a concrete inspector on construction, short stints as a blaster, farmhand, hunting guide, grocery store clerk and bulldozer operator. In his spare time now he enjoys reading, writing, drawing and painting, gardening, working at his hundred acre woodlot, and helping out at a family Bed and Breakfast. He has been writing for a number of years, but until recently has concentrated on non-fiction, writing technical articles for professional and trade journals. Several of his articles have been published in Canadian and American professional magazines, and in newspapers. He is a former member of the Community Editorial Board of the Truro Daily News, where he contributed monthly editorial commentaries to that newspaper. He is a member of the Writers Federation of Nova Scotia, Romance Writers of America, and the Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada Chapter of RWA. He is a Nova Scotian of Scottish descent, and presently lives in the central part of the Province with his wife and grand-dog. He is intimately familiar with the culture and setting his manuscripts, having worked on surveying contracts in those areas.
