Beverley Andi is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the city but spending most of her adult life living and working in upper, Westchester County, NY. Her career stretched from the field of art education to designing educational programs for historical sites and art museums. Positions held: Director of the Scarsdale Historical Society, Scarsdale, NY, Coordinator of Educational Services, Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase, NY and Weekend Manager of the Katonah Museum of Art, Katonah, NY. She also volunteered at the Somers Historical Society, Somers, NY where she first did research on the early American circus. It is this research that lead to the novel, Kickin Sawdust.
Now residing in Durham, North Carolina, the author is a member of the Romance Writers of America. Besides writing, she enjoys watercolor painting, adult classes at Duke University, traveling, gardening, reading and listening to a good story. She is an avid collector of American Folk Art and Native American Crafts.
